How to Play SoloMahj

Draw 13 tiles and complete the Charleston to build your hand, then draw and discard to form a mahjong before all 24 board spaces are filled. You get one final draw (the Tile of Last Resort!) for a total of 25 turns. Form a mahjong within 25 turns — you win!

1. Draw 13 tiles and arrange your hand. A rack is optional.
2. Complete the Charleston: pass 3 tiles right (R), across (O), and left (L), replenishing from the bag each round. An optional blind pass and courtesy pass (0–3 tiles) finish the Charleston.
3. Empty board tiles back into the bag and shuffle.
4. Draw tiles one at a time, exchanging or discarding into the 24 board spaces.
5. Form a mahjong within 25 turns to win.
