Our Story
From Learning Mahjong to Loving SoloMahj®
The official SoloMahj® game board is the patent-pending invention of the instructors at the Mahjong Academy of Dallas.
SoloMahj® was created to help new Mahjong students grasp the game more quickly and build confidence. By providing a simple way to practice, students could spend more time developing their skills and becoming comfortable with the game.
But something unexpected happened.
The instructors discovered that they loved playing SoloMahj® themselves. What began as a learning tool quickly became an easy way to relax, practice, and play a quick hand whenever they had a few minutes.
Today, SoloMahj® is both a skill-building tool for new players and a much-anticipated relaxation ritual for experienced Mahjong players.
